Athabasca Sand Dunes Provincial Park
Remote wilderness park along the S shore of Lake Athabasca with air access from Uranium City, Stony Rapids and Fond du Lac. Park has no services and no user fee. It is characterized by sand dunes, pebble cuvered surfaces and sand blasted structures. Evidence of native Indian use dating back 7000-8000 years can be found. Most northerly dune formation in the world. Check with conservation officer prior to entering the area.

Saskatchewan's largest provincial park is located in the rugged Candian Shield. The park consists of over 100 lakes providing excellent boating and canoeing. The Prince Albert National Park is an ideal destination for travellers in the summer and winter. Summer activities can include hiking, canoeing, and visits to our interpretive centres.
