    Foam Lake Visitor and Nature Centre

    The Centre features a wetland diorama with waterfowl, an interactive map of the Foam Lake Heritage Marsh, interpretive displays and an activity center for children. A short hiking trail next to the Centre allows visitors to stretch their legs, and view songbirds, while strolling beside Milligan Creek- headwaters of the Quill Lakes. The Visitor Center carries a full line of local, regional, and provincial travel information, internet/e-mail service, picnic, camping, and rest stop services. Located next to the Centre is the Douglas Pioneer Home where on designated days throughout the summer season guests can sample fresh bread baked in an outdoor clay oven. There is no entrance fee.

    Wildcat Hill Provincial Park
    Located in the Pasqua Hills access to this wilderness park is a 16 km hike on rugged terrain on an undeveloped trail. The area has steep canyons, fast flowing rivers, wildlife and dense forests. No services and use by experienced back country users is recommended. In winter access to Bankside Lake possible by snowmobile. Environment and Resource Management Office has more details.
